It never hurts!

Personally, I consider one to be my "control panel". I have my poker lobby, poker tracking, and table selection software running on one, while the main one is used strictly for play.

Having watched this video immediately after banning myself from Stars for a "24 hour cooling off period," I can say with some certainty that this is the funniest thing I've seen all week. Where did you find it?

@ Douggee

Yes, these days I am always short stacking, except for the occasional tournament or qualifying for fun. I like the money, the huge reduction in stress and variance, and the interesting intellectual challenge it provides. All of the stats I have provided so far have been from short stacking.

@ Drew

You never know- I am not sure how bad it was but you can't really set a time limit on your cooling off period. If you find that you are forcing yourself to hit the tables after your 24 hour break, then it is clearly too soon and the tilt comes on faster and more intensely with but the slightest provocation. Similarly, you might plan on taking a 24 hour break, then take a nap and figure out what you were doing wrong and feel really enthusiastic about getting back on. Don't hold yourself back either!
